D/X IDS Solo Farm
This is a build to solo the cave with all the Ice Imps in it. The Ice Imps in this cave drops Icy Dragon Swords.
Attributes
8+3+1(12) Scythe Mastery
10+1(11) Earth Prayers
12+1(13) Mysticism
Skills
1. Faithful Intervention
2. *Optional* I used Conviction.
3. Mystic Regeneration
4. Mystic Vigor
5. Vow of Silence
6. Mystic Sweep
7. Eremite's Attack
8. Pious Haste
Equipment
You will want a max set of armor with Windwalker insignias. Have a Scythe Mastery hood with a Superior Scythe Mastery Rune. The highest Vigor Rune that you can attain, a Minor Earth Prayers Rune, and a Minor Mysticism Rune. The last rune can either be an Attunement one or Vitae. A Zealous scythe of Enchanting is the ideal weapon. Zealous is almost needed, but Enchanting can be low.
A good combo for the run would be a Totem Axe and a Malinon's Shield.
The Run
Cast Faithful Intervention, Mystic Regeneration, Mystic Vigor, and Vow of Silence last. As soon as you cast Vow of Silence, use Pious Haste. If you do this right, Pious Haste should take off Vow of Silence when it ends. You can keep Vow of Silence up all the time, and you should while running. If you need to recast Mystic Regeneration, do it quickly. Take the North path to the cave.
The Fighting
You should already have Faithful Intervention on. When you're fighting, never renew 2 enchantments at the same time. So, you will cast Mystic Regeneration, then Vow of Silence. The next time Vow of Silence wears off, only cast Mystic Vigor. Keep that cycle up.
You can spam your attacks if you are attacking 2 or more enemies at a time. If you are only hitting one, use your attack skills occasionally, but still watch your energy.
Notes
The Ice Imps will get the occasional Maelstrom off, but it will only do 11 or 12 damage to you. Mystic Regeneration counters this completely. I believe a Fiery Scythe Mod could work, if you watched your energy.

is this build reliably consistent?
ie: with some background in doing the warrior farm and knowing how to get there, will i find it relatively easy to do?
on another note, gj. knew it could be done on a dervish, just have never bothered.

This build was actually my first attempt at trying it, and I made it to the cave easily. Once you get there, it gets even easier, so, yes, this is a very easy run.

I'd just like to let you know that is not efficient to have your helm and sup rune for Scythe Mastery when Mysticism is a higher attribute.

yeah, this looks great. but the attributes could be re-worked.
Also, just an idea, but if you put MoF in the optional you wouldnt need a zealous scythe would you?

I don't know why I didn't think of MoF earlier. If you use MoF, then you could use a Fiery mod for sure, and boost your damage big time.

Hmmm....I just tried this and for some reason, I can make it all the way up there, but that group of avicara followed me past the imps and end up killing me, was it just a bad spawn or am I doing something wrong?(yes I am running from them with pious haste n all)

Nice build. I've been trying to come up with a Dervish solo for this myself. Will try this soon.

this works pretty well, iv got to get better at the running though. the one time i made it perfectly there was a bunch of birds right outside the cave, that kinda sucked.

Even with bird spawns, you should be able to run in the cave, and as long as you keep Vow of Silence up until you're pretty far, you can survive. Try running into the area with water by the Lyssa statue.

Take off mystic vigor and put in essence bond. Mystic regen will give you enough health to keep yuou alive- the imps only do like 5 dmg with their wandings if you have conviction up. Plus its only one enchantment to put up between vos.

Great build, this will be one of my must-tries. Also, as a note, the video in your post does not work anymore, any way you can renew it or something so we can view it?
